I agree with Barbara.  I don’t care what side you’re on, it’s a guarantee that you will offend at least half the people who see it.  Doesn’t matter if it’s “left”: or “right”.  Why doesn’t everyone just stick to “car stuff”?  That is what this email chain does best and why most of us signed up for it.
